Trillions of filenames are travelling on the net, and every day I download a file with a very user-un-friendly filename, why? I tell you why it is important and how to make a good filename. Users download many files, typically installation files and we do NOT install the software immediately after the download.
Maybe a week later I need to find the file to install a software called "Rainwater" from a company called "H2O". If the installation file is called H2O-Rainwater-setup.exe then there is a fair chance that I find it, but if it is called RW-9.3.2.exe among 200 other files with stupid names, then ... - got it ?
